Sunday, July 06, 2014
Audio sermon for the Fourth Sunday after Pentecost. The bark of Peter compared to the other barks in the scriptures. A peace and clam reigns in the heart and soul where Jesus is watching. If Jesus falls asleep in our souls we will suffer all kinds of turmoil. When He is awake and alive in us then, no matter what happens around us, we will enjoy a constant internal peace.
Audio sermon given Saturday July 5, 2014. Our physical lives and our visible works are only as the tip of an iceberg. The hidden part of the iceberg is the greatest part and the most important part. It is only because of the hidden part that the visible part is even visible. Our actions are deemed good or bad, not according to what is seen by the physical eyes, but rather by the spirit and intention with which they are done. Our lives here on earth is but a small part of the entire life of our soul.

Monday, April 28, 2014
The audio sermon for Low Sunday (First Sunday after Easter). The doubt and hesitancy of the Apostles only serves to strengthen our faith. The Apostles are only weak humans, but are given divine authority. It is a terrible responsibility that rests upon their shoulders because they must render an account of all the souls entrusted to them by God. This places a similar responsibility for all the people to pray and assist the bishops constantly. As our pastors pray and sacrifice for us, we need to do the same for them. If we are to have good pastors we must do our part in praying and sacrificing for them so that they may be good shepherds to our souls.

Audio Sermon for today, the Fourth Sunday in Lent. We are children of the Promise. Let us rejoice. Be not envious of the apparent successes of the children of the slave girl (the children of the world). If we realize our inheritance we will no longer fear or dread the sacrifices necessary to obtain Heaven. We can even rejoice in our sacrifices.
Sunday, March 23, 2014
Audio sermon for today. The non-discriminatory policy as it applies to creed has given us the foundation for a true lack of charity with the illusion of respect and love of our fellow men. The demons are rejoicing in this. If we are truly striving to please God and live virtuously then we must expect attacks from these demons. Temptations are not a sign that we are failing but rather a sign of our progress. The greater the temptations the closer we must be approaching the goal of the love of God. Do not be disheartened by your temptations and failings, but get up and strive even more. Take courage God's grace is sufficient for us.
Sunday, March 16, 2014
Audio recording of today's sermon. Second Sunday in Lent. Our Lord's Transfiguration. The old Testament is fulfilled and the New begins and continues with Christ. We must prepare ourselves to reciprocate God's love for us. True love is self-sacrificing.

Audio Sermon for Septuagesima Sunday:
Our attitude in our works makes all the difference. God shows us His goodness and generosity and how often we fail to reciprocate that love and generosity. We are very stingy with God and seek to only do that which is absolutely demanded of us. Now is the time to change that and put our whole heart and soul into serving God. Giving our all to Him as He has given His all to us. We will find our reward not only in eternity, but even here and now.

Audio sermon for the feast of the Purification.
Christ is the Light of the world. To truly love is to be self-sacrificing as He is. Once we see God with the eyes of faith we will be tired of this world and be ready to sacrifice all for Him. We will be eager to be dismissed from this world as Simeon was. All the suffering and sacrifice of this world will be considered as nothing once we enjoy the blessing of being with God.
Let us strive to see Christ with the faith and eyes that Simeon had. Just as He was hidden in Human form, yet Simeon saw and believed; so He is hidden in the Holy Eucharist for us to see and believe.

Audio Sermons
Audio sermons for this weekend:
Third Sunday after the Epipahny The humility, faith, and charity of the Centurion. We need these same virtues in our day.
The feast of the Conversion of St. Paul God works with hot and cold, not the lukewarm. St. Paul was desirous of doing the right thing even when he was completely mistaken. This God was able to use and turn the great evil into even greater good. We need to have the same fervor in serving God before God can really do anything with us.

Audio Sermon for The Feast of The Holy Family The family is the basic unit of all civilization and is in the image and likeness of God and is therefore under direct assault from the devils. We must defend the family with constant loving sacrifice, if we are to avoid the snares placed before us by the world, the devils and our own fallen nature.
