Sunday, December 20, 2015

The Fourth Sunday in Advent Sermon recording. (Our bodies are vehicles meant to transport Our Lord, and our souls are the pilots of our bodies. If we direct ourselves into dangerous situations we risk driving God from our souls and bodies. When we end up in sin we make a wreak of our bodies; drive God out and make our souls miserable. What good is a pilot with a wreak for a vehicle and no heavenly passenger to transport? May we fix the sinful wreaks of our bodies, and make the firm purpose of amendment to avoid the occasions of sin so that Jesus will be pleased to enter into us again -- especially at Christmas.)

Audio sermon for the feast of the Assumption (Mary is our mother. We need to be her faithful children and talk with her daily. The best means for this is with the daily rosary.)
Audio sermon for the feast of St. Joachim. (Our society is falling apart at the seams because our families are falling apart. Our families are not stable because our men are not men; and our women are not women. It is time for men to reach for their true dignity as husbands and fathers as St. Joachim. It is time for women to reach for their true dignity as wives and mothers as St. Anne.)

Sunday, August 09, 2015

Audio sermon given on Saturday August 8 (The disciples of Christ preached and baptized, but above all they were humble. They worked good things only in the Name of Jesus, and refrained from attributing any of the good to themselves.)

Audio sermon given for the Eleventh Sunday after Pentecost (The gift of speech is a precious gift and we must use it wisely.)

Sunday, August 02, 2015

Audio sermon for the feast of the Portiuncula (The House of God is sacred. Our bodies are even more sacred than the material churches. We are the living Tabernacles that God desires to live in. We have hope, because God has given us through St. Francis the ability to gain a plenary indulgence today.)

Sunday, July 12, 2015

Audio recording of the Sermon for the Seventh Sunday after Pentecost (We judge a tree by its fruit, we judge a soul by its virtues. The chief virtue that we must cultivate in our souls is Charity. If we do not produce love we will be cast into the eternal fires. Material things are not the fruit of the soul.)
Audio recording of the Sermon given on Saturday July 11, 2015 (Our prayers should chiefly be to fulfill our primary purpose in this life. We were made to know love and serve God. Our prayer should be that we give greater honor and glory to Him.)

Sunday, July 05, 2015

Sixth Sunday after Pentecost audio recording The good things that are given to us, all come from God. The authority placed over us is from God. We must love and obey, pray and sacrifice, so that we may be found worthy to have good and holy leaders. We make up one Mystical Body. If the head is ill the body is ill. If the body is ill the head is ill. Our society is in need of help. The leaders and the body of people need to be made well. We can’t fix the blame on others, we must each do our own part. We must become perfect because we are called to be united to God Who is perfect. As we increase in virtue we will be found worthy to have better leaders and we can, in this manner, aid one another in our ultimate goal: eternal happiness with God in Heaven.

We would do well to leave such judgments to God.)

Sunday, March 22, 2015

Audio sermon for Passion Sunday. (Christ has hid Himself from many in the world. Or, rather, the world has driven God from themselves. This blindness is all around us in those who do not believe in God or live as if God does not exist. Because of this men act irrationally and are worse than irrational animals. The devils are out hunting souls and many are taking the bait. Specifically, pornography and many on the internet are working hard to entrap and make people addicted to pornography and thus control them.)

Monday, March 16, 2015

Audio Sermon for the Fourth Sunday in Lent (Sons of Abraham by way of allegory represent our bodies and souls. We must be ready to discipline the body as Abraham had to send Ishmael away and sacrifice our souls as Abraham was ready to sacrifice Issac)

The audio recording for the sermon given on the First Sunday in Lent (This recording is in mp3 format so all our "Apple" users can now listen also.) We should expect that we will be tempted rather than that we should not be tempted. The closer we draw to God the greater the assaults of the demons become. God has prepared us for this assault and has given us the weapons that we are to use in order to overcome the demonic attacks. Let us make use of the graces we have been given in the Sacraments as well as the many sacramentals the Church has put at our disposal, and fight the good fight for the greater honor and glory of God.

The wedding feast symbolizes our marriage to God.)

Here is my first sermon of the year:
New Year's Day. Feast of the Circumcision. (The shedding of His Blood during the Circumcision was sufficient to redeem us because it was of infinite value. However, "good enough" is never enough for God. He gives and demands completeness and entirety.)
