Here is an audio recording of a sermon given on the First Sunday in Lent. (Spiritual maturity allows us to see that there is nothing perfect in this world. It is an illusion to believe that we will find perfect peace and happiness in this world. That is reserved for Heaven. The devils tempt us with something different in this world having us just exchange one cross for another in the hopes of finding everlasting happiness here in time rather than in eternity. Jesus would have us be satisfied with the cross we already have and carry it with Him. Then, we can confidently hope to be freed from our cross in eternity.)
